I truly think that Cape Town is the most beautiful city I have ever been to. I spent 8 months living in this incredible city so I am confident in my recommendations for you. Taro and I will be returning to Cape Town in December so stayed tuned for even more quality recommendations. If you’re visiting Cape Town and looking for affordable luxury, check out these hotels.

The Sugar Hotel:

The Sugar Hotel has an awesome location in Cape Town’s Green Point neighborhood. You’ll be a 15-minute walk away from Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, one of Cape Town’s main tourist areas. It’s a modern, trendy boutique property with all the features you need to keep you entertained: bar, restaurant, pool, sundeck and spa. If you are looking for a modern, trendy spot, that’s close to popular city landmarks, you may want to consider Sugar Hotel.

The Glen Boutique Hotel & Spa:

Prices starting at $96

Glen Boutique Hote and Spa, Cape Town hotels

The Glen is a 5-minute walk from the water. Many of the rooms even have sea or mountain views. Either way, not a bad deal. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. It’s a contemporary property with sleek, modern features that will make you feel like you are living a luxurious life in Cape Town. Breakfast is complimentary and is served either in the lounge or on the terrace overlooking the pool. It seems like have thought of everything, you can even book your activities right on their website (click here to check out their offerings). Ocean View House

Prices starting at $88

Ocean View House, Cape Town hotels

Camps Bay is an affluent, trendy and BEAUTIFUL area of Cape Town. Most of the hotels there will start around $400 a night. Ocean View House is a hidden gem, set in a scenic, private location where you can enjoy beautiful views and uninterrupted relaxation. My favorite feature is that every room has a balcony or terrace. The rooms are clean and comfortable and feel classy and modern. If you are looking for a place where you can take in the beauty of Cape Town and don’t mind taking a cab to the City Centre then you must stay here.
